My Christmas Vacation

On the 23rd of December we go to my grandmothers House for her birthday. She opens presents then we open presents. I got the first three books in the heroes of Olympus.The On the 25th my other grandparents came over to my house and had diner and opened presents. I got this big Lego set with a boat. Then for the rest of the year we were at my grandparents house because my home's plumbing was not working. I watched a lot of Doctor Who.Then on the 2nd of 2015 we went to a arcade. With games like Parkman and Galaga.

Pokemon my new favorite game

I just started playing a couple of months ago. I am playing Pokemon Fire Red. You start in Palate Town.
You go to Prof. Oak. You can chose one of these:
Bulbasaur
Charmander
 Squirtle
I chose Charmander. Then you go to Viridian city. And go to the pokemart and  talk to the salesman he will give you a custom pokeball for Prof. Oak. He will give you five pokeballs and the pokedex after you give him the custom pokeball. Then you can catch other Pokemon. Here are the links for the game:

Why can't 10 be a tween?

Half Passt Kissin Time (As a 10 year old I am strongly opposed to kissing.) hosts Friday Fragments each week. My Dad, aka Home School Dad, participates a lot. He suggested that I do so as well.

Here we go . . .

I just turned 10. My Dad says that 10 year olds aren't tweens. I think that tween is in between single digits and teens. So, now that I am a double digits I think I am a tween. Don't get me wrong, I still play with toys (mostly Legos).

I went to the Circus last week. It was awesome! Before the show, we got goody bags with a program and a light up toy. We went on the circus floor and I got lots of autographs from the clowns and the ringmaster.

A Mouse in the house.

My sister found a mouse today in the sink in a bowl. It was pretty tiny. It's in the picture below.

My Dad and I got it out of the house and into a bin. I wanted to keep it, but I wasn't alloed to. We walked to a clearing next to lots of trees and released it.

On Monday we went to the prairie to sketch birds. It was cold and it was wet and my socks were soaked. We saw a dead mouse and I interviewed it.

Lego Ziggurat

This is my ziggurat. A ziggurat is a kind of flattened pyramid made by the sumerians around 2300 b.c.

I made these out of legos. My sisters and my Dad helped. I designed it, and made the ramps. The shark thingy is supposed to be an idol. The Sumerians worshipped idols.

Medieval Times

This week my Dad took me to Medieval Times. I loved it! We sat in the black and white section and the black and white knight won.

Here is a video of the black and white knight knocking the yellow and red knight off his horse.

Medieval Times was a lot of fun! I can't wait to go again.
